Data Policy

The data provided in the submission form will be anonymised and sent to the reviewers so that they can select the papers for Media for All 9.

The data provided in the registration form will be used to manage the registration.

The registration also includes two questions in which your specific consent is requested: to release name, surname, affiliation and email to conference participants. And to use your email to send you information about future conferences and research activities.

The person responsible for data management in Media for All 9 is Anna Matamala (anna.matamala@uab.cat).

Your data will not be given to third parties except when it is a legal obligation.

Your data will not be transferred internationally.

Your data will be kept for a period of one year and then will be destroyed. If you have given permission to use your email to send you information about future conferences and research activities, your data will be kept until you revoke that permission.

Your data will not be used for automated decision processes. Your data will not be used to create profiles to predict your personal preferences, behaviours or attitudes.

According to current personal data protection legislation, you can revoke whenever you want the given consent and you can exercise rights of access, rectification, cancellation, opposition, limitation of treatment, data portability, by contacting anna.matamala@uab.cat.

Authors allow conference organisers to upload the video presentations on Youtube (TransMedia Catalonia channel) and embed them in the Moodle platform.

Authors submitting their contributions agree to have them included, providing they are accepted, in the Digital Repository of Documents from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (DDD, https://ddd.uab.cat), under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY NC ND 4.0) license for an undefined period of time and under a non-exclusivity basis. If it is a collaborative work it is understood that all authors have given their consent.

The author states that the submitted work does not infringe any third parties rights regarding intellectual property, industrial property, business secret or any other kind of right. If the work contains multimedia material or other kind of material created by third parties, the work submitter must have the permission of the owners of these materials and the authorship of these materials must be clearly identified and acknowledged in the submitted work.

The author gives permission to Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona to transform the work format, without altering its content, if a change of format is necessary to guarantee its preservation and accessibility.

The author can ask the removal of the work from DDD only under justified reasons. When a work is removed, the content, links and metadata are deleted.
